Our rye berries are popular for milling, malting, distilling, and the usage of in grain bowls. To organize the entire grain, simply measure out the specified amount of rye berries into a saucepan and add three to four times as much water and salt to taste. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover, and simmer for about an hour or until tender. Drain and set aside to chill, or serve right away in a breakfast bowl, dinner grain bowl, or salad. Do this rye berry salad, and feel free to substitute no matter what herbs, nuts, or fruits you have got to be had.
